This beautiful annual can grow from 36-60” with a 12-30” spread. The ‘Black Magic’ has a solid black leaf. The giant leaves can measure up to 3’ long! These Elephant Ears take a few hours of full sun to partial sun to part shade in organically rich, moist to wel soils. It grows relatively quickly, shooting out new foliage almost by the day. Strong, fast growing Colocasias are a hassle free tropical that makes for an unforgettable focal point in any garden, patio, or house.
Elephant ears love water & nutrients. They require regular watering, particularly during dry summer months. Provide regular fertilization during the growing season. The more you feed them, the larger they will grow — & they will grow LARGE!

Packaging Process
All of your plants will be shipped bare root. We begin by removing excess soil & wrapping the roots/bit of leftover soil in a damp paper towel to ensure the roots don’t dry out on their journey. Next, we wrap the damp towel with plastic wrap. After your soil & roots are properly sealed, we wrap your plant in paper. Depending on how fragile the plant is, we may wrap it again in foam insulation or bubble wrap to ensure the plant won’t break. Once the plants have been wrapped, they are taped down into their box to keep them from moving around. Extra stuffing, receipts, heat packs, & optional gift messages are then added & VOILA! 💚
