Rhipsalis pachyptera
RHIPSALIS PACHYPTERA
Rooted Jungle Cactus
USDA Zones 9a-11
This Rhipsalis is native to South America & can grow up to 1-3’ tall. It needs bright shade to full shade to thrive with average succulent water (only when soil is dry). Elliptica is able to withstand drought for long periods of time, making it an easy plant to take care of! During spring & summer it blooms unique, relatively large white blooms for a Rhipsalis. The foliage is evergreen, pad like succulent leaves chained together.
The mature plants pictured in the listing are ~1.5 - 2 years old.
It would take ~1 year (maybe less) for a 6" plant to get that big!
We will send a 6" size plant bare root with (not pictured) an empty, durable, plastic, dark green 6" hanging basket for your Rhipsalis to be planted in upon reception. SOIL NOT INCLUDED.
