'Ivory Prince' Christmas Rose or 'Walhelivor' Christmas Rose

This showy, evergreen perennial is a beautiful hellebore with a large, light blue foliage & beautiful light pink & white blooms during early spring & winter. They grow to be 1-2 feet in height with a similar spread. The best part about hellebores are how incredibly low maintenance they are (please refer to my shpeal on my recent experience keeping them in containers detailed below). The most important part about keeping your hellebore healthy is making sure your soil is moist, but well drained. They thrive in part to full shade & are very tolerant to any soils.

 

If you were a fan of the hellebore we previously carried, 'Moondance,' & didn't catch it in time, this is a very similar version with equally interesting foliage -- while 'Moondance' may have had variegated leaves with an interesting pattern, 'Ivory Prince' has solid foliage that is an incredible shade of silvery blue.

  • Packaging Process

    All of your plants will be shipped bare root. We begin by removing excess soil & wrapping the roots/bit of leftover soil in a damp paper towel to ensure the roots don’t dry out on their journey. Next, we wrap the damp towel with plastic wrap. After your soil & roots are properly sealed, we wrap your plant in paper. Depending on how fragile the plant is, we may wrap it again in foam insulation or bubble wrap to ensure the plant won’t break. Once the plants have been wrapped, they are taped down into their box to keep them from moving around. Extra stuffing, receipts, heat packs, & optional gift messages are then added & VOILA! 💚
