This bright green, almost golden, dwarf grass is a brilliant evergreen ground cover, sure to illuminate any garden, landscape, or container garden. It grows in such a dense fashion, the loose, narrow bladed leaves form almost mats of what seem to be stiff foliage. This Acorus THRIVES in moisture & shade. This dazzling grass is perfect for these damp, dark areas (such as the water's edge) -- brightening them up with such vivid colors you can't miss one blade! Plant in partial shade in moist to wet, even boggy soil. It will grow in the sun, as long as watered frequently & will tolerate moderate foot traffic. This makes it perfect for walkways. Space your grasses 8" when planting in-ground. At maturity your plant will be 3-4" tall & 4-6" wide.

Well drained soil that must be kept evenly moist & never dried out.

Shade tolerant. Will also grow in full-partial sun, but needs to be watered more frequently.

Frequent watering as soil must always be moist; water more frequently when grown in full-partial sun.
